The dancing continues, reaching a fever pitch, until an hour passes and the energy breaks like a soap bubble.
The DJs and band leaders each shake their head, wondering why they switched from the their typical set list. Though the crowd was into it. They each decide to go back to their regular music before management decides to complain. They were just following the mood of the crowd, but that will only excuse so much.
As for the dancers: some, suddenly embarrassed or desperately thirsty, leave the dance floor. Some start dancing to the new music, but dance with more moderation. Some try to match their previous pace, laughing at themselves when they fail.
A few people, including Anya, continue dancing with abandon.
